Jake, a US Marine, has been on a nonstop roller coaster ride in the Middle East for over a decade. While on a medical leave seeking help for PTSD he snaps and abducts a woman thinking it will be the remedy plaguing his thoughts. The woman, Liz, witnesses his hallucinations, night terrors and anxieties and quickly becomes sympathetic to his plight. A relationship between the two begins to flourish.

 I am happily married with three kids living along the Rocky Mountains. I have a white schnauzer named Charlie who rules my home. I enjoy a day of retail therapy with my two daughters and weekends are typically spent with my autistic son and his special needs sports teams. Writing and reading are a fabulous escape from the stresses of my day job. If one person enjoys the piece of fiction I created then I consider that a success in itself.
